WaveMaker Inc was founded in 2013, when the rapid application development desktop software was acquired from VMWare in 2013 by the group company Pramati. WaveMaker was classified as "low code" in 2014 when Forrester Research introduced the market term. Since then, it has upgraded to become an end-to-end Agentic App Generation Platform that offers deterministic AI assistance to enterprise development teams building full-stack Java, Angular, React and React Native applications.
As software builders ourselves, we – and indeed our many ISV and enterprise customers – have felt the need for a development system that provides full stack acceleration with full transparency and access to coders. It was our mission to make software development more productive by abstracting out complexity and augmenting coding efforts.
