Veteran CIO Jim Sutter Joins ActiveGrid Board

Former CIO of Xerox, Rockwell Embraces Web 2.0

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — 28 June 2007 — ActiveGrid, Inc., a leading provider of Enterprise Web 2.0™ solutions, today announced that James F. Sutter had joined their board of directors as an independent board member. Jim is the former CIO of Xerox Corporation and Rockwell International. He has also been a CIO advisor to the CEOs of Dow Chemical and E&J Gallo Winery.

In his role as Senior Partner at the Peer Consulting Group (www.peergroup.net), Jim helps facilitate CIO Roundtables and provides CIO consulting services. "ActiveGrid can bring value to CIOs who need a path to migrate applications to the web," said Sutter. "A visual development solution that doesn't require extensive technical skills and yet can be deployed in a standard IT environment solves a real problem."

"Jim brings a critical customer perspective to our board discussion that is often lacking in Silicon Valley startups," said Christopher Keene, CEO of ActiveGrid. "He understands what it takes for a technology to leap the chasm from the lab bench to the CIO's office."
