WaveMaker Studio version 6.1.10 is the latest GA release. Get your copy from the downloads page.
6.1.10 is a fix only release to the 6.1.x stream. It does not introduce new features or functionality. Don’t worry, the latest WM6.2 dev build with shiny, fun, new stuff to play with with is now available for those looking for those sorts of things.
The most notable fix for deployments is the CSSLoader issue that prevents applications deployed from previous versions from loading properly in Chrome 6 and FireFox 4. LiveForm related editors also now properly retain their data sets. This avoids the lazy loading calls that had been observed, yielding a minor performance gain for some applications as a result.
Upgrade to 6.1.10 is recommended for all deployed projects. No project version upgrade is required. You only need regenerate your project WAR file under 6.1.10 to apply the fix to your application. As with all studio upgrades, clear your browsers cache to avoid any caching induced issues.
The release includes a few corrections to the development side as well. Specifically, the HQL query editor has been corrected to stop clearing the queries after save and composite widgets now properly use ‘this’, same as other widgets.
WaveMaker 6.1.x has proven itself to be a solid and very usable release stream. Version 6.1.10 corrects the most egregious issues of 6.1.9, in an easy to use package.
